Ms. Daniela
Guitar, Ukulele & Song Writing Teacher
Ms. Daniela is a ukulele, guitar, and piano teacher who not only likes to teach, but also loves to learn. She is a singer-songwriter and one day hopes to teach songwriting on a larger scale. Besides teaching, Ms. Daniela is also a student at Gavilan College and a barista at Starbucks.

Ms. Sophia
Voice, Beginning Piano, Tiny Tots, Beginning Woodwind Instruments
Ms. Sophia is a Monterey based vocalist and educator. She holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from San Diego State University where she studied with Dr. Katherine Polit, and has been teaching voice and elementary music for 6 years. Sophia recently moved to the Monterey Peninsula after a hiatus from performing and can often be found at the Church in the Forest sharing both liturgical and secular community concerts. Her most recent large solo work includes Anna I/II in Kurt Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins as well as the Luciano Berio Folk Songs with the SDSU Symphony Orchestra. Sophia is an advocate for music accessibility and community and founded the C.S.P.A.A. with other Bay Area educators in 2020. This non-profit aims to provide music opportunities to kids of the south Bay Area each summer through a performing arts academy as well as throughout the year with masterclasses and other educational resources.

Ms. Marissa
Bass, Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, & Voice Teacher
Marissa Muraoka is a guitar, vocal, piano, and ukulele teacher. She began singing and performing at a young age. Growing up she learned to play piano and guitar, and continued to sing and perform. She studied Music at the Santa Barbara City College and graduated from UCSB with a B.A. in English.
Continuing to perform, write, and release her own music Marissa Muraoka has taught private piano, guitar, ukulele, and vocal lessons at Los Gatos School of Music and San Jose School of Rock. She has also taught general music classes to students in schools with the Community of Music and Arts. It is her goal to create a fun learning environment for all students. She loves sharing her passion for music and getting students connect to music in a positive way.

Ms. Dani - Executive Director
Ms. Dani is the Executive Director of Class Act Music Academy and has been teaching students privately for fifteen years. Ms. Dani has a passion for making learning music fun! She enjoys teaching voice, piano, ukulele, group classes, and our preschool music class - Tiny Tots Music Time!
